Using the latest print head technology - the Pixma IP4500 produces ink droplets of the smallest size making sure that any documents or photos are printed with the highest attention to detail.The very high print resolution makes sure that colours are reproduced exceptionally and fine details are as they would have been in the original image.

By using 5 separate ink cartridges, Canon have ensured that with the IP4500 they are taking into account the need to reduce wastage and allow the user to enhance savings while operating the printer. Each can be monitored individually so the user can swap them over one at a time rather than having to constantly be installing fresh in supplies.

Canon have ensured that with this generation of Pixma printers the actual print time has been reduced and lab quality prints can be ready in under 22 seconds flat.

Canon have also designed this print system to form more efficiently in combination with advanced print papers. This will make sure that any photos have a much greater life span than previous and precious photographs wont deteriate under light conditions.

The IP4500 in short carrys out what it sets out to do - and very well too. It doesn't come packed with flashy gimmicks or add-ons but is a very high quality print system. The only added abilities it comes with is the CD/DVD print capability with clip on print tray.Connectivitiy is also kept simple with a Usb system or Pictbridge universal connection.
