Micro Nozzle

To bring high street quality photo printing to the home, Canon have researched and developed a unique printer head design on the Pixma IP4500 and the Pixma range in general. Esentially the size of the ink droplets can vary whilst printing and this is known as the Pico litre rating (pl).The smaller that the printer nozzle is then the smaller the ink drop will be and hence the print quality.The pixma range use a micro nozzle system which results in microscopic ink droplets and so hence much greater precision when the printer is forming the document or image.The Pixma system on the IP4500 will achieve a much higher colour accuracy and clarity than other printers.

Thanks to this market leasing innovation from Canon the IP4500 is able to produce the highest quality prints of a high 9600x2400dpi maximum print resolution. The Pixma IP4500 has the ability to deliver a very small 1picolitre ink droplet.
